OD/Surface Grinding Machinist

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable and self-motivated individual to operate our OD Grinder.  The qualified applicant must be detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly. The candidate must have an openness to new training, knowledge and skills.  Previous industry experience is preferred.

Job requirements include: 

• Set up, operate, and monitor stainless steel and chromed work pieces on our Chevalier semi-automatic OD and Surface Grinders
• Perform minor manual OD/Surface Grinding, when necessary
• Able to work with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, comparators, and air gauges
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical sketches
• Work to tolerances as tight as +/-.0001
• Strong attention to detail

The regular work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am – 3pm.
